Hardware Installation:
The hardware installation went smoothly. The case had basic maintenance performed such as cleaning the fan filters and removing dust. The new drives and the existing hard drive were removed and reseated into their caddies. USB front headers and audio ports were removed since they are not being used. Cables are now routed through the case to hide extra length.

Software Installation:
The two(Western Digital) hard drives were precleared and added to the UnRAID volume. The Hitachi drive is quite old and so it is too risky to add to the volume. The Hitachi hard drive was precleared and setup as an unassigned device. The plan is to use this drive as a buffer for downloads. At the moment, downloads are loaded onto the volume causing at least two drives to be spun up at any given time (The parity drive and the drive containing the data). If the Hitachi drive fails only the unsorted downloads would be lost and that isn't a big deal.
