Combination is a nice topic since it is so vague. Instantly puzzle games pop into my head but there is so much to play here anything really works even games like Sim Earth. I voted yes since it is easy to work with both mechanically and esthetically.

O WOW, there must be a story behind this but is too big of a spicy meatball for me. Obviously, I flagged this one.

Sounds nice and easy to work with. maybe having the game start in a fully functional state and it slowly decays as the player races to make repairs. It has my vote.

ooooh, I like this one. This is not a topic I particularly want to make a game for but I believe there is lots to play with and would love to see other contestants art and atmosphere.

Eh I think this topic is very focused on art styles to make the topic work. I am not a very good artist so am hesitant but also I think playing the other contestants games would be draining.

My thoughts on this are almost the same as 'Cute can also be horrible' I think it would just be draining to play game after game for the judging process.
7) Epic battle royale ✓
Thoughts:
This topic is definitely 2018-2019 era. Everything seems to have a battle royale mode at the moment. I don't think this topic will win since multiplayer is almost a requirement and I think that will scare people away. It seems like an awesome challenge to make in forty-eight hours.
8) You need to cheat ✗
Thoughts:
I ultimately voted no but I might come back and change my vote on this one. Personally, I think it would be fun to do a part game part CTF event. I fear that entries would be lazy and just put a list of cheat codes in the game description calling it a day. If that is the case the description must be linked to the game .exe since only having the game wouldn't be enough information to enjoy the game. Cheating AI in games is always fun but just getting AI to work properly can be tricky. I vote no but like I said I might come back to change this vote.
9) Break the fourth wall ✗
Thoughts:
Ok this sounds awesome and means I would get to make an alternate reality game. I know how to code phone systems to receive and place calls so that could easily be a game mechanic. However, I think games would just use it for humor. I would love to use this topic but feel voting would be a pain.
10) Microscopic Creatures ✗
Thoughts:
Alright, final topic to vote. I am not too enthused about this topic. I don't want to play a game after game changing from Paramaecium to an Ameba. This topic is art focused and just lacks a wow factor. I can promise you the entire game submission list would just be first stage SPORE gameplay.
